The Godweight Archive is designed to be investigated. Users are actively encouraged to:
- Analyze entries for cross-references, patterns, and hidden connections
- Inspect page source code and metadata for ARG-related clues
- Decipher cryptographic elements presented within the narrative (base64, hex, ROT13, etc.)
- Collaborate with other users to solve puzzles and assemble clearance phrases
- Discuss theories, share discoveries, and analyze lore in the community forum
- Submit clearance phrases to the Librarian chat interface
These activities are part of the intended experience. Discovering hidden content through legitimate investigation is not a violation of this policy — it is the point.

While narrative-driven investigation is encouraged, actual malicious activity against the site infrastructure is a severe violation. Users must not:
- Attack infrastructure: Execute DDoS attacks, attempt SQL injection, exploit server vulnerabilities, or otherwise attempt to compromise the security or availability of godweight.com or its hosting infrastructure.
- Inject malicious code: Attempt to inject malware, ransomware, XSS payloads, or any malicious code through form inputs, API endpoints, or other vectors.
- Bypass security controls: Brute-force administrative logins, attempt to access unauthorized API endpoints, or circumvent authentication or authorization mechanisms.
- Abuse rate limits: Scrape the site at a velocity that degrades performance for other users, or automate requests beyond reasonable use.
- Harass others: Engage in harassment, doxing, intimidation, hate speech, or threats against the creator, other users, moderators, or anyone associated with the project.
- Post harmful content: Share real personally identifiable information, non-consensual intimate imagery, content depicting real violence, or content that sexualizes minors.
- Spam or manipulate: Post spam, engage in vote manipulation, create multiple accounts to evade bans, or otherwise abuse community features.
- Impersonate: Impersonate the creator, moderators, the Librarian, or other users with intent to deceive.
Godweight is a horror fiction archive. Discussions of dark themes, unsettling concepts, and speculative scenarios are expected and welcome within the context of the fiction. However, all community contributions must:
- Remain within the context of discussing the archive and its fiction
- Treat other community members with basic respect
- Not promote real-world violence, illegal activity, or self-harm
- Not contain unsolicited advertising or commercial solicitation
Content is subject to both automated AI moderation and human review. The moderation system is context-aware and understands the difference between in-universe horror fiction and actual harmful content.
Violations are handled proportionally:
- Minor violations: Content may be flagged, hidden, or removed. Users may receive a warning.
- Repeat violations: Temporary or permanent account suspension.
- Critical violations: Immediate permanent ban and IP blacklisting. Attempted cyberattacks will be reported to relevant law enforcement agencies.
Automated moderation flags content with severity ratings (low, medium, high, critical). Content flagged as critical is automatically rejected. Content flagged as high is automatically hidden pending human review. Moderation decisions can be appealed by contacting us.
If you discover a genuine security vulnerability (unrelated to the fictional narrative and ARG elements), please report it responsibly to . Do not publicly disclose vulnerabilities before they have been addressed. We appreciate responsible security research and will not take adverse action against researchers acting in good faith.
